Contemplation
Dans notre univers où l'urgence prime sur l'humain, la contemplation du vivant est un moment de gratuité qui ouvre sur l'infini : infini lenteur de la croissance, infini questionnement de la vie, infini de la matière…
Dans un environnement où les rythmes sont difficilement en harmonie, où les besoins de l’être humain et la nature sont en tension face à l’économie, j’ai fait le choix de la contemplation.
Mon travail est devenu un écho de l’élasticité du temps. Comme pour un enfant, l’instant vécu avec intensité et authenticité devient à la fois, passé, présent et futur. Dans la contemplation du cycle des saisons comme dans la dynamique d’une danse se crée un espace physique et temporel. Dans le travail de la matière, du métal, du papier et du carton jusqu’à la surprise de l’estampe se crée un jeu. Et dans la tension qui naît de ces interactions, j’expérimente la quintessence de tout instant.

In an environment where rhythms of life are not in harmony, where human beings and nature's needs are suffering in front of economical rules, I choose contemplation.
My work is a remind of the elasticity of time. As a child living with intensity and authenticity, any moment is becoming at the same time, present, past and future. In the contemplation of the cycle of the seasons, as well as the dynamic of a dance, a physical and time space opens. From the start, working on materials, copper, paper, cardboard until the result and the surprise on the paper is the game, which leads to quintessence.
